What is a customer?

A customer is a qualified homeowner. Qualified means a homeowner in your chosen market who meets any of your selected criteria (e.g., income, property size, lot size, etc.). This homeowner has been contacted by us via iOS or by phone (including landlines) and has expressed interest in your service. Interest is defined as engaging in a conversation and requesting more information or a callback. This determination is based on indicators such as response time, level of engagement, and whether they asked qualifying questions.

Are my customers shared with other businesses?

When you purchase Market Access with Home Connect Ads, you secure exclusive rights to the portion of your chosen zip code or neighborhood covered by your budget. No other business can compete for the customers within that protected share; those customers are yours, and yours only.

How does the campaign work?

Your campaign starts with broad outreach to qualified homeowners in your target area. These homeowners are not yet customers, they haven’t responded or shown interest yet. As the campaign runs, some of them will engage with your ad and respond. Those responses are what generate customers (qualified leads) over time.

Are the people you contact already looking for pest control?

Not always. We reach out to homeowners who may be dealing with pest issues based on location and behavior. When they respond to your message, that’s when they express intent, typically by asking for more information or a callback. That’s when they become a customer.

What’s the difference between “homeowners contacted” and “customers”?

Homeowners contacted = outreach.
Customers = response.

We may contact tens of thousands of homeowners during a campaign. Some of them will reply, ask questions, and show interest in your service. Those are your customers.

Why don't I get customers right away?

That’s normal. Homeowners respond on their own timeline. Some reply within hours, others days or weeks later. Pest control campaigns often see delayed response patterns,  especially for problems that aren’t urgent or seasonal.

How will I know if people are responding?

You’ll receive regular campaign updates showing how many homeowners we’ve contacted and how many have responded. When a homeowner engages, we pass their information directly to you for follow-up (depending on your campaign outcome type).

What happens if I’m not getting enough customers?

Customer volume depends on your budget, market size, and local demand. If you’re not seeing the results you expect, our team will review your campaign and recommend adjustments; like expanding your budget, refining your targeting, or switching to higher-performing areas. We're here to help you get the most out of your market.
